Stop Sounding Like a Robot: AI Brand Voice 101 for Glamping Businesses

Why this session is being offered

Consumers are smart. They can spot generic AI copy from a mile away. Or worse, they can tell it’s AI, full stop.

Here’s what happens when you type “write me an Instagram post for my glamping business” into ChatGPT with nothing else: you get the average of the entire internet. Polished, grammatically perfect, and about as personal as a rental car. The average of the internet has never dealt with a last-minute cancellation during peak season, never talked a nervous first-time camper into the yurt instead of the tent, never fixed a propane heater ten minutes before check-in. Your business has. That’s the stuff that should show up in your copy, and it can’t if AI doesn’t know it exists.

The businesses winning right now aren’t the ones avoiding AI. They’re the ones whose AI sounds and looks like them instead of like a chatbot with a stock photo.

This isn’t a lecture. It’s a working session, and I’m building the whole thing live on screen.

I’ll start by running a generic AI prompt in front of everyone and reading the output out loud. It’ll sound fine. It’ll also sound like nothing, and you’ll hear exactly why.

From there, I’ll show you how to set up a dedicated AI workspace for your own glamping business: who you are, who your guests actually are, what makes your property different, and how you’d describe your tone if a friend asked. Then I’ll feed that workspace real examples, your best social posts, your about page, the reviews that already sound like you, and run the same prompt again. That before-and-after moment is the whole point of the session.

We’ll also cover the stuff nobody talks about: guardrails. The words your brand should never use (looking at you, “unlock” and “nestled”), the claims you can’t back up, and the emoji habits that aren’t yours. You’ll leave with your own list.

And I’ll give you a quick, honest take on AI imagery: where it helps (mood boards, seasonal graphics) and where it actively hurts you (replacing real photos of your actual property, because guests book what they can see is real).

Who is this Lunch & Learn for?

If you own or run a glamping property, campground, or RV resort and you’ve used AI for your marketing but felt like something was off, this is for you. You don’t need experience with AI tools. If you’ve typed one prompt into ChatGPT before, you’re already ahead.

This session is not built for agencies or marketing departments with a content team on staff. It’s built for the person doing this themselves, between checking in guests and restocking firewood.

• A dedicated AI workspace framework built specifically for your glamping business

• Our 7 prompts for training AI to write in your brand voice, yours to keep and reuse on every platform

• A one-page takeaway checklist so you’re not trying to remember any of this from memory

• A list of your own brand’s do’s and don’ts, written during the session

• A clear, live before-and-after example proving the difference actually works

About Tony Mellinger

I’m Tony Mellinger, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Aspen Creative Co. I run a small agency built specifically for outdoor and adventure brands: campgrounds, glamping properties, overland shops, tour operators, the kind of businesses that don’t have a marketing department, just an owner doing everything at once. Brand voice systems like the one I’m teaching on October 14 are something I build with clients every week. This session is that same process, condensed into 45 minutes, for free.I’m Tony Mellinger, Founder and Chief Creative Officer of Aspen Creative Co.
